Margie Murray

Passion to Paint

   

Margie Murray is a painter living in Southern California. She works in oils, watercolor and mixed media. Margie works with a brush and/or palette knife to paint the human figure, floral, mountain and seascapes. She graduated from the University of Southern California and has been a student at Associates in Art and the Los Angeles Figurative Academy. She teaches  teen art at Carter-Sexton Art Store and Gallery in North Hollywood, California.  She is currently working on a series of still life paintings done in a classical approach for a show in 2010. Margie is one of the featured artists in the California Studio Tour book produced by Cichon Fine Art.
 Margie is a member of the California Art Club, San Fernando Valley Art Club, National Watercolor Society, Long Beach Arts and an Exhibiting Member of the Valley Artists Guild.
